Hey Lovelies,
I love watching television, maybe a little too much, but....there's a new show called The Taste and I had to see what it was all about. By the title I knew it was a cooking show. I didn't really think any further into the title, so when watching the first episode, I was amazed that the cooks/chefs actually only had one taste of a chance to flaunt their skills. This one detail makes The Taste different from every other cooking show out there alone. Did they stop there? No. no, no, no. There are four very accomplished judges: Nigella Lawson, Anthony Bourdain, Ludo Lefebvre, and Brian Malarkey. who will each coach a team(kind of like The Voice). "In each episode the groups will face team and individual challenges with a variety of culinary themes through various elimination rounds. At the end of each episode, the mentors will have to judge the competitors' dishes blind -- with no knowledge of whose creation they're sampling, what they're eating, how it was prepared or whom they could be sending home" (Influenster).
Does my review make you crave for more info? Then check out the last episode of The Taste here: http://abc.tv/Z3jimp

Review: One Love Organic's Skin Savior
Hey lovelies!
I know I've been slacking on the posts, but you can read my last post to find out why.
To make this post as short as possible I'm going skip the tangents and get right into the review.
I received this amazing jar of product in my Birchbox a couple of months ago and was just using it as a nightly moisturizer every now and then. This moisturizer is sort of grainy, but it smoothes quickly into skin and you only need a very small amount. I love using it at night because it can be used as an eye cream and facial moisturizer. I love the light lemon meringue scent because it only lasts for a couple of seconds.
I found the creator and followed One Love Organics on Twitter. Then I decided I would tell them how much I love the "Skin Savior". The company replied and said that this product isn't only amazing at moisturizing skin, but can be used as a leave in hair conditioner, lip balm, cleanser, and cuticle cream. I was flabberghasted by her reply because I could put it in my hair?! I was a little afraid to at first because I thought my hair would get too oily. When I finally did, it was like love all over again because it made my hair silky, smooth, but not too oily. It is great at detangling as well. Just use a litle amount at the end of your hair and work up so that it won't get too oily.
I'm so sad that I'm almost finished with the jar, but it did last me at least 3 months. Should I splurge($68 for 3.5 oz.) and get more?
FTC: I was not paid or given anything for writing this review. These are my honest opinions.

New Semester Begins This Week!
Hey Lovelies!
This week I began the spring semester, so I probably won't be able to post more than once a week. :( I currently have an internship and 13 units this semester. An internship is like a part-time job except that you won't get paid(some do pay, but they are part and full time jobs labeled as internships). I'm interning for a company which wants me to redesign and update a website for an italian chef/model. The classes I'm taking this semester are calculus, Data mapping, and a couple of computer networking classes, which will go towards transferring to a 4 year university and a web design certificate.
My future posts will be about some of the trends for spring and summer, more product reviews, hauls, and monthly favorites.
I will be having a giveaway on my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/SweetCutie24?feature=mhee) soon. You need to be a subscriber to my youtube channel to enter. Watch for a new video titled giveaway.

My Top 12 of 2012(Beauty)
Hey lovelies,
I know that this post is a week overdue, but better late than never right? These are my favorite goto makeup, hair care, and skin care products. I'm going to get right to it so that I don't go off into a tangent.
12. Yes To Carrots Nourishing Cleanser:
I love this stuff! It is really gentle, but cleanses my skin deep down. I also noticed that my skin wasn't as dry after and didn't have raccoon eyes the next morning. It smells like baby powder which some youtubers didn't like, but I happen to like it.
11. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: I will never change powders again(ok, ok! I might experiment with others, but this is my holy grail powder) I have heard many other beauties use this powder and thought "nah, nothing's better than my Maybelline Dream Matte Powder", but since Maybelline changed the formula, the Rimmel powder had a chance of moving into take Dream Matte's spot. Now, I don't like anything else but Rimmel's powder to set my makeup and mattify my skin.
10. Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips for Smoky Hazel Eyes: This is my favorite palette for travel because it is small, but very versatile. The dark colors could be used as eyeliner or crease color. There are so many variations of look that could be created with this palette that there was only one other palette that I used this entire year. These eyeshadows can create smokey night to chic everyday student looks.
9. Lorac Haute Couture, St. Tropez Quad(Limited Edition): Yup, this is that other palette that I used when I didn't use the PF Shimmer Strips palette. It is the perfect natural look, but a little goes a long way. To see what the palette looks like and my go-to look, head over to that post
8. NYX Slide on Pencil: This came out this year and absolutely will not try any other pencil eyeliner because these pencils live up to their name. They do come of pretty fast and smudge easily, but I don't wear eyeliner long, so I don't really notice that as much as others. I definitely want to add more colors to my collection, since the only one I have is black.
7. NYX RLG Pinky Natural: My go-to "my lips, but better color. It lasts pretty long and has a great scent(watch for review/swatches on this soon).
6. Milani Bronzer(Med. 2): This bronzer isn't too orange-y or shimmer-y. It is a matte lovers dream. I think its perf for every day conture and even just a tan overall appearance(maybe review)
5. Jordana automatic Lip liners: These go on so well. They stay on for a really long time and hold ontol lip stick/gloss really well. Great variety of colors too.
4. Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser: I love what Maybelline has been coming out with lately! This is one of those products, I mean it doesn't make my dark circles disappear, but it does lessen them and brightens up my eye area. I use it just around my eyes because it looks odd elsewhere. I love these concealer also because it doesn;t fall into my crease lines.
3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: This is the concealer I use on my scar, pimples, or redness. My cheeks are always red and this concealer hides that amazingly! It doesn't leave a ring or get too dry, looks just opaque enough that it still looks natural.
2. CoverGirl Lashblast Waterproof Volume: This is the first mascara ever that has actually made my lashes look full and voluminous. I began wearing it in the summer because I love to swim and after I would go to dinner or an event and my mascara looked fresh.
1. Tresseme Leave - In Conditioner: If you have tangles in your hair, you need this right now! Just a couple sprays allows the comb or brush to glide through your hair with a little effort. It also smells good too.
I hope you liked my favorites of 2012! What are 12 things you reached for most in 2012?

Review: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
Hey lovelies!
Sorry there was a bit of a delay, but I got a new camcorder for Christmas and I was trying to edit a video that I made. Before I go into the review, I have to say that I received this product for free from BzzAgent; however, these are my honest opinions. I would hate to find out that a product is hyped after I purchased it.
This product is Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Hand Cream(Fragrance Free). This hand cream can be used on dryness everywhere, especially lips, elbows, knees and hands. The claim is that "just a dab heals dry skin" and "it provides highly effective relief for even the most uncomfortable dry, cracked hands"..
Before I used this cream, my hands were peeling, nails were also peeling and brittle, and I had a couple of hang nails. Within a single use, I noticed that my hands stopped peeling and looked refreshed. I used it the next day without any additional signs of improvement. On the third day, I did notice that my hands were alot softer, smoother, no sign of peeling and even my nails were longer(my nails usually peeled before they grew longer than my finger tips). As I continued applying the moisturizer once a day for 2 weeks, I saw fewer hangnails, no peeling, baby smooth and soft skin.
The hand cream even worked on my split lip because after I applied it evey night, my lips felt smoother and moisturized. I did not like using it on my lips in the day time because the cream felt too heavy and thick.
After seeing all of these amazing results I think that this product definitely lives up to its claims. For $2 a tube, it is definitely going to be my goto moisturizer.
Have you tried this? What is your favorite moisturizer?

Review: Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Hey lovelies!
I've been hearing alot recently about how using a makeup brush is a better way to apply foundation than your fingers or sponges. I decided to jump off the cliff and try the Eyes Lips Face(elf) stippling brush because I wanted to test the new method. I didn't look back. Then I became bored and bummed because it began sheddng and made my foundation streaky.I researched about some better brushes. I realized the Mac and Sigma brushes were a no go because they are too pricey. I was watching a youtube video(not sure who it was) and the person seemed to really love the Real Technique Stippling Brush, so I figured why not? At $8.00 at Ulta, the RT brush was a good deal lucille. I received it in the mail about 4 days later and had to test it out right away. I used the brush to apply my CoverGirl Natureluxe Foundation and.. WOW...I was fascinated about how well the brush blended my foundatin-no streaks, spots, shedding, nada! It gives flawess application, but it's also soft and dense. Another thing about the brush is that the handle is long for more comfortable use. The next characteristic is a matter of opinion because the brush stands on its own. Now, if you have all of RT's brushes then that's awesome because they can all stand up on the vanity. On the other hand, if you have a container to store your brushes in, the larger base may not neatly sit in the holder.

NOTD: Style Icon by Color Club
I haven't been keeping up with painting my nails lately, but today I decided I would paint my nails on one of my study breaks. I decided to go with an ox blood color, simply because it reminds me of cranberry sauce. The color Style Icon is a beautiful polish created by a company called Color Club. In the last couple of months or so, I've received Birchboxes(monthly subscription to get deluxe samples to try new things) with a couple of Color Club's mini nail polishes. I loved the formula and the colors so much that I decided to splurge and buy this one on Hautelook.com. Its a buildable formula, so even one coat gives an opaque, but light, color which darkens with additional coats. I love the fact that you can have a range of colors with just one nail polish. The polish lasts at least 3 days without chipping with a base and top coat. I will be definitely buying more of these nail polishes in the future, but right now I have plenty to last awhile.
What nail polish are you currently wearing?

Review: Lorac Haute Couture, St. Tropez Eyeshadow Quad
You know how when you wake up in the morning and you just don't have much time to get ready; furthermore, apply makeup? The Lorac Haute Couture St. Tropez palette is amazing to use for just those kind of days. Let me tell you, I fell in love with packaging! The top is a black lace pattern and encasing the shadows is a black, sleek plastic case. In this quad there's a matte sandy white color, a yellow gold color, a medium brown color, and a dark brown color. There was also a brush that I didn't like, so I tossed it..
Below are pictures of my daytime look and my night time look with using solely the eyeshadows in the palette.
I feel like the eye shadows are such great quality that you don't have to go back-and-forth applying layers of product. Lorac's eye shadows are soft, creamy(while they're powder) and most certainly pigmented. They are very easily blendable as well as long lasting. I do my whole makeup routine at about 8 AM and when I remove it at 9 PM, the eyeshadow is still in the same spot and just slightly lighter.
Every aspect of this palette is wonderful and I hope to try many more of their products.
Do you have this palette? Tell me what you think about it.

Beauty Balm Breakdown!
Before I get into the actual post, I wanted to give a shout out to Small Budget Beauty for nominating my blog for the Liebster blog award! This award is for the up and coming bloggers who have under 300 subscribers, and if you win you will then return the favor by nominating 5 other bloggers.
Without further ado...
Today I'm talking about the hyped up Drugstore BB Creams. Now, I know you've heard of them, unless you live in a pineapple under the sea, so I'm just going to talk about my experience with using them.
To start off I just wanted to tell you that all of the pictures on the top are before product application and the bottom are the ones after product was applied.

The first of the three BB creams that I tried was the L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier(white tube). When I first saw the product, I thought that it looked like white out you would use to fix pen mistakes with. It reads on the label "adusts to skin color". As I applied the cream, it made my skin smooth because of the exfoliant. I was actually liking the way it made my skin smooth and airbrushed. It was great...until half way through the day. when I looked in the mirror during a powder break at school. I was embarrased to find an ompaloompa orange color and an oil slick were covering my entire face. Luckily, I just happened to have a makeup remover wipe in my backpack( I'm prepared for anything) . Let's just say I never wore that out in public again!
With the worse BB cream of the three out of the way, next is the Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector with SPF 15. I actually tested this one out at home first :D I loved this one so much more than the L'Oreal bb because it didn't make my skin as oily, oxidize, along with many good things it did do! As I was applying it, I noticed that the color was a little dark for the shade light/medium, but read that it will change to your skin tone just as the others (try to) do. I used to elf stippling brush to apply it and the finished look was glowy and flawless. The perfect amount of coverage for someone with monthly break-outs( which I was currently having :P). I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't oxidize, but it left my face a little too dewy for my combination skin. I loved that it covered the rosacea on my cheeks as well as the pimples and it even made my pimples go away faster than if I would have used foundation. This made my day! I would go further to say that its just as good as my CoverGirl Natureluxe Foundation, but not quite.
Last, but definitely not least is the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB. Cream with SPF 30. First of all I want to say that this or any amout of SPF in any foundation, cream, etc.. just will not be enough so if you are in the sun alot, don't forget to use an spf under this. On to the review...For this bb cream, my initial reaction was that it is my perfect shade(medium). I loved how creamy this was but it also felt light. This bb cream did dry my skin, but if using moisturizer it is perfect! It too seemed to allow my pimples to clear up faster than when wearing foundation and wasn't too dewy. After application my skin was smooth and looked like it was my second skin, but doesn't conceal as much as the Garnier bb cream.
All-in-all, my favorite was a toss up between the Maybelline and Garnier bb creams. They both had different cons, but neither one was bad enough to not wear everyday.
So tell me....
What one is your favorite? Do you think that the Asian BB creams are better? Are you ready for CC Creams?

About Me and BonBons Beauty
Hey, my name is Bonnie and I would like to say "thank you!" for stopping by my blog as I know that there is a wide selection to choose from. In this post I'll first tell a little about myself and then talk about why I decided to start this blog.
I'm a college student whom is hoping for a chance to start my own web design company someday. I love to read, draw, arts and crafts, swimming, and making Youtube videos. Ok, so you're probably wondering what makes me different from everyother beauty blogger? I'm sensitive, probably a little too over emotional, I am a lefty, and use both the creative and logical parts of my brain equally. I was born with a physical disability, but that being said, I don't want you to feel bad for me. I know that I was brought to Earth to use it to inspire others. I feel as if many girls and women dwell on their physical attributes; instead of seeing beyond them into the mind, heart, and soul. Yes, I do feel self-concious at times, especially when the huge scar on my forehead sticks out like a sore thumb. I have decided to set that aside and use other attributes to detract, not conceal, the scar.
That brings me to why I have decided to blog/vlog. I just want all women to look past their physical imperfections: acne, tiny eyes, or thin hair. Everyone has those or some sort of quality they's like to change, but the question I ask is why would you want to look like a barbie when there will be an infinite number of dolls just like you? Focus on what makes you unique on the inside.
In my blog, you'll read mostly what other beauty bloggers talk about: new trends, products, specials, etc.. but I will also be talking about health, technology, college, and books I'm reading.
I am always willing to answer questions, review products that you want to buy but don't know whether its worth buying, or just talk.
Have a fantabulous week, and discover what makes you unique!
